Do you work on residential projects?
Our work is primarily commercial — construction, tenant fit-up, service and upgrades for businesses, contractors and property owners.
How fast can I get a bid?
Most proposals go out within three to five business days of receiving complete plans and specs. If you’re working to a hard bid date, tell us and we’ll confirm same-day whether we’re bidding.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. White Electric Company holds a Virginia Class A Electrical Contractor license, #2701-036736A, and a North Carolina Class Unlimited license, #18828-U. We carry general liability, commercial auto and workers’ compensation coverage, and certificates of insurance are issued on request.
Do you offer ongoing service agreements?
Yes. Facility managers and building owners can open an account with us, which puts your buildings on a scheduled maintenance interval and gives you priority in our dispatch order.
Do you handle permits and inspections?
Yes. We pull the electrical permit, schedule the inspections and meet the inspector on site.
Will you work in an occupied building?
Regularly. Most of our service and renovation work happens in buildings full of tenants, patients or customers — phased shutdowns, night and weekend work when needed, and crews who keep the site clean.
